A man vs. himself character study of Billy set mostly in the rising indie music scene of the 90s, the film features interviews with Thurston Moore, J Mascis, Lou Barlow, Peter Wolf, Springa, Curtis Casella, Mary Lou Lord, Todd Phillips, Clay Tarver, and Kay Hanley, as well as an extensive archive of live performances and intimate vérité footage.
