Kevin Mack – Visual Effects Artist

Oscar winner for Best Visual Effects What Dreams May Come (1999)
Kevin Mack is an Academy Award winning visual effects pioneer. He received the Oscar for Best Visual Effects for What Dreams May Come. Mack is now creating virtual reality art to depict and inspire the transcendent visionary experience. His VR project, Zen Parade, is a 2016 Proto Award Nominee for Best Independent Experience.

Brett Leonard – Director, VR Film Development

Leonard is an award-winning director of Lawnmower Man, the first feature film to introduce the concept of Virtual Reality in 1992, and its follow up in 1996, Lawnmower Man Reborn.

Robert LaFond – Senior Interactive Producer, KCRW

Rob LaFond prides himself on the exceptional quality of his work and strives to bring compelling content to users worldwide through the means of Interactive media and audio/video content. He presently works as the Sr. Interactive Producer for the cutting edge NPR radio station KCRW. Some of his current projects include NAS live in VR at The Annenberg Space for Photography and KCRW’s VR coverage including “KCRW’s VR 101.” Rob helped bring VR to KCRW two years ago working with leading technologists and early adopters to create their own custom rig. The first session they recorded was Death Cab for Cutie live from LA’s famous Village recording studio. He also built KCRW’s current video production studios and is currently working on a new VR series.

Tom Walsh – TW3 Entertainment

Award winning Writer-Director-Producer, Tom Walsh founded and established TW3 to focus on creative, original entertainment projects that transport audiences to unique fantasy worlds.

Tim Hicks – Vortex Immersion Media

Develop, produce, and deliver live action VR content for a variety of platforms ; short films, electronic dance music VJ, festivals, interactive installations and VR cinematographer.

Mary Duda – Virtue Play Inc. games and software

Creator of multiple VR platforms including games Moonplay and SciOart, established to create and publish positive interactive games, focus on responsible Virtual Reality programming that acts as a focal point to inspire the imaginative vision of children and young adults; and software.
